The Murder of George T. Williams
Another mystery solved.
Thanks to information sent to me by Cousin Mitzi Moore I now know how my GreatX3 Grandfather George T. Williams died, yes he was murdered!
George is noted as being the first county clerk of Williamson County Texas.
The below clippings from an 1860 Austin Texas newspaper called the "State Gazette" tell the story.
